Roselyn Sanchez Leads Titans to 83–51 Win Over Richard Bland
The Guilford Technical Community College women’s basketball team delivered a dominant performance on both ends of the floor, defeating Richard Bland College 83–51 behind a balanced offensive attack and strong rebounding effort.
Sophomore guard Roselyn Sanchez paced the Titans with a game-high 23 points, shooting 10-of-22 from the field and knocking down three three-pointers. Sanchez also made her presence felt defensively with six steals while adding four assists.
Forward Isabell Berhe provided a major scoring boost with 16 points, connecting on three shots from beyond the arc and finishing a perfect 3-of-3 from the free-throw line. Aryanna McClean added 14 points and five steals off the bench, giving the Titans another spark on both ends of the court.
Inside, the Titans controlled the glass all night. Nevaeh Dobson recorded 13 rebounds and 10 points, while Bailey Dutton added 12 rebounds and Onisty Jones pulled down 10 boards to help GTCC dominate the rebounding battle 51–40.
Point guard Jewel Pass contributed 11 points and four assists, helping orchestrate the offense as the Titans consistently pushed the pace and created scoring opportunities.
GTCC’s defensive pressure proved just as impactful. The Titans forced 20 turnovers and held Richard Bland to just 23 percent shooting from the field, never allowing the visitors to find a consistent rhythm offensively.
With balanced scoring, aggressive defense, and control of the boards, the Titans steadily built separation throughout the game and cruised to the convincing 83–51 victory.
