Titans Battle Through Adversity in Tough Road Test

Guilford Technical Community College showed grit and heart in a hard-fought matchup against Louisburg College, battling for all forty minutes despite facing shooting struggles and constant pressure.

The Titans were led by Bethani Overby, who came off the bench and delivered a spark on both ends of the floor. Overby finished with a team-high 16 points, added 7 rebounds, and attacked the rim fearlessly, getting to the free-throw line eight times. Her energy kept Guilford Tech within reach throughout the contest.

Roselyn Sanchez put together an all-around effort, scoring 13 points while contributing 3 steals, 4 rebounds, and steady defensive pressure. Bailey Dutton made her presence felt inside, finishing with 11 points and 6 rebounds, including 5 offensive boards that created second-chance opportunities for the Titans.

In the paint, Nevaeh Dobson was a defensive anchor, recording 8 rebounds and an impressive 4 blocks, while also adding 10 points. Dobson’s rim protection and physicality helped slow Louisburg’s interior attack and kept possessions contested.

Jewel Pass played heavy minutes and showed toughness on both ends, finishing with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals, while continuing to lead vocally and defensively despite facing pressure throughout the night.
